After downloading your file, a folder will be extracted with "SwitchBoard" and two versions of RevPlayer. To run the program you must drag the "SwitchBoard" program onto the 'Player' that has the "R" icon.
Backstory
SwitchBoard began as a simple program to allow a classroom teacher to use her laptop as Talking Switch. It soon grew from one switch to up to five. And from one spoken phrase to hundreds, all controlled through a SwitchBoard.
This program requires a multi switch box similar to the StealthSwitch-AT or DJ Switch box. Each switch needs to be programmed to input a number from 1 to 5. You can test the program by using the numeric keys on the computer keyboard.
A switch based phrase can be static on the switch or can be programmed as a stepper and pulse through up to five phrases.
Teachers/Therapists are able to record voices of age appropriate kids to represent each student's voice.
Up to five students can use the program at the same time.
Phrases can be changed on the fly.
